Sewing Commission Process

When starting a clothing commission, I would need a few things:

  • Project Concept (Please provide a sketch, reference board, etc. to help describe what you want)

  • Deadline (At least 2 months in advance from when you need it. Larger projects may take more time)

  • Preferred contact platform (email, instagram, discord, etc)

Please don't hesitate to send me an inquiry! You're not immediately locked in to commission me when you do
Once we have set down the basics, we start talking about materials, measurements (and how to take them if we're too far away from each other), price floor, and the estimated time it may take the project to make.
Unless the client has an idea of the material they'd like, suggestions will be provided.
After the initial discussion, I'll draw up my plans and design for the project. At this stage, we can still refine the idea. When that has been settled, I'll also make a cost breakdown of the project with notes on which part goes whereBefore officially starting the project, I will need the client to sign off on the design, the measurements, and the materials pitched to them. Should there be any issues regarding material and construction that may cause it to deviate from the initial plan, the client will be informed in advanced about the issue and the possible remedies for it.A 50% downpayment is needed before the start of the project.Updates will be given upon reaching a significant milestone (changes per project, and we can discuss what would count as a milestone) or within 2 weeks. Any foreseeable delays will also be communicated. Please note that some factors of the order may incur additional fees such as:

  • Difficult material (faux fur, chiffon, leather)

  • Rush Order

  • Shipping fee
