What's the difference?
While both require reference images / moodboards, etc.Character redesign assumes you already have an existing brand and character to work around.Character design involves more back and forth exploration of the character from the very beginning.

Basic Refsheets include:
-Front view
-Palette
-Zoom in + Deconstruction of details
-Notes

How it works:-We discuss the brief, talk moodboards and references-Sketches are made by the artist, usually 3 variations, and the client provides feedback.-Feedback is applied, shown to the client-Client gives more feedback if necessary.These steps are repeated, until the client gives their approval.Same goes for lines and colors to ensure the final product is the closest we can get to the client's vision.
